DCPS Chancellor Kaya Henderson Resigns Big news today in education    DC’s top education official, Chancellor Kaya Henderson, announced her resignation Wednesday. With over five years of service, she will be formally leaving office in September.  During her tenure, Henderson has shepherded in significant improvements in a system that had been plagued by decades of low test scores, poor student achievement, and graduation rates well below the national average.  Her work has led to improved and
